Collect visual evidence for an SEO or content audit
Capture landing pages, search result layouts and on-page issues so an audit shows exactly what you found.
You’ll need
- A list of the pages to audit
Steps
- Capture the whole landing pageUse Full page for each important URL so the audit records the full content, layout and calls to action as they appeared on that date.
- Isolate specific elementsUse Select element to capture just a pricing table, a hero section or a navigation menu when the finding is about one component.
- Capture search resultsSearch your keyword and capture the results page to document where competitors and features such as snippets appear.
- Mark the findingsHighlight thin or duplicated copy, outline missing elements with a rectangle, and add a numbered marker for each finding in your report.
- Export with dates in the file nameKeep {date} in the file-name pattern so each capture carries the date it was taken.
Result: Dated, annotated captures that support every finding in the audit and can be compared after changes go live.
Tips
- Search results vary by location and account. Note the search conditions next to the capture.
- Capture the same pages again after fixes to show the before and after.
