How to watermark screenshots for client review

Add a text or logo watermark to screenshots and PDFs, and choose the right position and opacity for drafts, previews and confidential work.

A watermark makes the status of a screenshot obvious, such as DRAFT, CONFIDENTIAL or FOR REVIEW ONLY, and identifies who shared it.

Steps

  1. Open the capture in Capurize Studio.
  2. Click the stamp icon (Watermark) in the left toolbar. A “CONFIDENTIAL” watermark is added to every page.
  3. Change the text, or switch to Logo and choose an image (a PNG with a transparent background works best).
  4. Choose a position: Center, Tiled, or a corner. Adjust size, opacity and angle.
  5. Export as usual. The watermark appears on every page and in every format.

Choosing a style

  • Drafts and reviews: centred text at 15–25% opacity is visible without hiding content.
  • Confidential material: tiled text makes it harder to crop the watermark out.
  • Brand attribution: a small logo in a corner at 30–60% opacity.

Tip: The export dialog has an “Include watermark” switch if you need a clean copy for yourself.
