Operating-system shortcuts capture what is on your screen. Capturing a whole web page, including everything below the fold, needs Chrome itself or an extension.
Windows
- Win+Shift+S: select an area, a window or the full screen. The capture is copied to the clipboard.
- PrtScn: copies the full screen to the clipboard (on some setups it opens the snipping tool instead).
- Win+PrtScn: saves a full-screen image to Pictures → Screenshots.
- Alt+PrtScn: copies only the active window.
macOS
- Cmd+Shift+3: captures the whole screen.
- Cmd+Shift+4: drag to capture an area; press Space to capture a window.
- Cmd+Shift+5: opens the screenshot toolbar with all options.
- Add Ctrl to any of these to copy to the clipboard instead of saving a file.
Full web pages in Chrome
- DevTools: Ctrl+Shift+I, then Ctrl+Shift+P and “Capture full size screenshot” (Cmd instead of Ctrl on Mac).
- Capurize: Alt+Shift+P for the full page, Alt+Shift+V for the visible area.
- Capurize region and element capture: assign your own shortcuts at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
Tip: In Capurize Studio, press ? at any time to see every editing shortcut: tools, undo, zoom, export and more.
